Friends, I want to let you know about something simple we’re doing to keep this BuddhaGang effort alive. Now, you can request and Videogram! And it will help the effort thrive!

If there’s a subject you’d like me to speak on — Dharma, history, the news, the mud of this world, or something you’ve been pondering yourself — request a videogram from me. It’s easy: go to my personal profile at facebook.com/buddhagangbodhisattva and look for the storefront or the “videogram” request button. If you have trouble finding it, just leave a comment or send me a message and I’ll try to help guide you.

Each videogram is ten bucks. That ten goes straight to Lynn, my partner, my BuddhaGang bodhisattva co-keeper of the household. She manages the money so our personal BuddhaGang family sangha can hold steady.

I’m sick, but I can still make these little videos. I’ve been studying and practicing Buddhism most of my life, I pay attention to what happens, and I am happy to speak on what you’re curious about. Dharma, the world, the mess of politics, ethics and karma science, or whatever else you bring — it’s all engaged Buddhism.

Engaged Buddhists don’t run away from the mud. We study it. We breathe with it. We call it what it is. The mud stinks, and pretending it doesn’t is bypassing. Naming it, exposing it, and vowing not to be intoxicated by its stink — that’s how we practice.

This is why Buddhagang exists. Not to float in the clouds, but to walk through this world awake.
